Our Venue & Facilities

Opened in October 2009 our architecturally AWARD WINNING eco-friendly Visitor and Learning Centre is the perfect place for your next function, meeting or event.

We are able to host you in our purpose built Te Wharekura - Otago Daily Times Learning Centre, which includes a large deck overlooking the landscaped garden and stunning views. Our café 'Horopito Kitchen' provides snacks light lunches and great espresso coffee. We can provide tea and coffee facilities during the day.

The Otago Daily Times Learning Centre seats 30 at tables and 60 in lecture style. Audio visual facilities provided free of charge include, projector, and whiteboard. Wireless broadband connection available*. (*Data cap)

Pricing for Venue Hire

Meeting room hire from 9.30am to 4.30pm           NZ$299 for full day        NZ$169 for half day
Additional fee for hire outside of these times        NZ$49 per hour.  Note: ALL Prices exclude GST.
