Welcome to Matariki at Orokonui Ecosanctuary.
This event brings community together to educate and celebrate Matariki, the Maori New Year. The activities below are designed to educate through story telling, traditional practises of making manu aute maori kites; and to celebrate through sharing food and live performance, kapa haka.
