“Why is it we get all these earthquakes? Tectonics of the South Island, NZ" - Dr. Simon Cox

Dr Simon Cox is a Senior Scientist at GNS Science in Dunedin, whose professional expertise includes the fields of geological mapping and tectonics. As a member of the GNS Science’s Natural Hazards Group, he has been involved in the immediate response following the Canterbury earthquakes.

Cost: $5.00 (Donation)

“Beating the Big Leaf in the Vatthe Conservation Area of Vanuatu” - Sue Maturin 

Southern Conservation Officer for Forest & Bird has organised groups of volunteers to assist in the eradication of a very invasive vine, Merremia peltata in the tropical forests of Vanuatu.
